“You’ve been invited to the party of the century! All of the most influential artists in Hollywood will be there. Based on the classic poem “The Wild Party,” by Joseph Moncure March, The Speakeasy Society hearkens back to the era of flappers and gangsters, bathtub gin and jazz. As the party unfolds, the group of eccentric characters spiral out of control as they reveal their desires for wealth, fame …and each other.”

DATES:
Auditions: Friday June 9th 7pm-11pm or Saturday June 10th 12pm-4pm
Callbacks: Sunday June 18th 4pm-8pm
Workshops: Saturday July 15th, Tuesday July 18th, Thursday July 20th, Saturday July 22nd, Tuesday July 25th
Rehearsal Period: October 16th-Feb 3rd with
November 18 to Nov 26 — OFF
December 16 to Jan 5- OFF





(rehearsals will generally be 2–3 times per week, more as we move closer to the actual performance date, and will primarily be scheduled on weekday evenings and early afternoon on the weekends)
Tech: Jan 27th-Feb 2nd (everyday)
Performance: Feb 3rd

Please note: Performers of all races, ethnicities, transgender, cisgender, and gender non-binary performers are encouraged to audition. We are committed to casting a dynamic and diverse ensemble of 15–20 performers to play a myriad of roles — some historical figures and some figures of our own creation.
