A landing gone wrong kills everyone on board. Two transport planes collide mid-air. An airplane vanishes mid-flight. A man-hunt mercy mission ends in tragedy. An abandoned crew left for dead succumbs the unthinkable to survive.
Edmonton’s only live-action horror show inspired by true history possesses the Blatchford Field Air Hangar at Fort Edmonton Park. Forget what you know: the 11th Annual Dead Centre of Town presents its most immersive, horrifying experience yet.
Dead Centre of Town digs up and dances with the dusty bones of Edmonton’s long-forgotten past, blending experiential theatre with factual history and urban lore. Each year, a new location, a new script, and new scares.

Content Advisories: Suitable for viewing by persons 18 years of age or older. You may be touched, sniffed, moved, left alone in the dark, placed in the splash zone, and intentionally separated from your friends. The show includes some instances of jump scares, multiple confined spaces, gore, violence, coarse language, and deals with true historical incidents.
The Blatchford Field Air Hangar is wheelchair accessible with wheelchair accessible washrooms. We have included an accessible track as part of the performance. Please note, due to the historic nature of the Park, the terrain leading from the main parking lot to the Blatchford Field Air Hangar may not be suitable for all wheelchairs and mobility aids, and is a combination of paved pathways, wooden boardwalk, dirt road, and uneven grass field.
