We’ve got a number of pots on the burner right now, and this Spring is really shaping up to be something special. There’s new work being prepared all over the country, and here at NoPro headquarters we’ve taken a major step forward with the Pilot Festival component of the HERE Summit & Festival.
This week we announced that new work from E3W Productions, Capital W’s Red Flags, JFI Productions’ Night Fever, and a version of Linked Dance Theatre’s Like Real People Do will all be part of the festival along with the previously announced Escape From Godot, Stash House, Koryn Ann Wicks’ Casting, and The Kansas Collection: The Key from The Speakeasy Society.
We’re getting to do something really special this March, and we are doing it largely as we always have: through the strength of support of the community. We will sell out, so if you’ve been waiting on picking up a badge now is the time.

ON THE PODCAST THIS WEEK
We first met Jeff and Andy Crocker at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in 2018, where their piece Escape From Godot turned the festival on its ear for a whole day, only to fade into the night.
Since then Escape… has popped up at IndieCade, the Denver Film Fest, and will soon be a featured selection of the HERE Summit & Festival in Pasadena this March.
Host Noah Nelson talks with Jeff & Andy, aka Mister and Mischief, and Escape… and their new work The Builder and the Dove.

From David & Lisa Spira of Room Escape Artist:
Super Bomb Squad was fast paced and frenetic. Doldricks Escape Room merged classic video game design with elements of laser tag and escape room gameplay to create a unique beast unlike anything else we’ve encountered.

Just over two weeks and under $5k to go on the campaign.
From last week: E McNeil is one of the original indie developers in this wave of VR, and an incredibly nice guy to boot. E’s shipped seven games already, with many of them either starting off in VR (DarkNet) or getting an adaptation.
