The ABC Project is back (already) with the fifth instalment, along with two alternate shows — Students and Friends — which cross over with each other at 939 Studios/Think Tank Gallery during the Drinkin’, Smokin’ and West Coastin’ show.

Annie Lesser’s The ABC Project is excited to present E(levator) in conjunction with Students and Friends as Venn Diagram Experiences. These 3 stories surrounding a mental health clinic with a belief in the healing power of art will be performed simultaneously.

Tickets will be available to the general public starting at 7:30am on Thursday August 24th at abcelevator.eventbrite.com. Press interested in attending is highly encouraged to put their requests in early.

E(levator): It’s your first day on the job. But is this the right line of work?

Students: You are meeting some interesting people for extra credit. What makes them special?

Friends: You are saying goodbye to someone who has cared for you for a while. But is this goodbye the end?

GENERAL HOUSEKEEPING

1. E(levator) will be a 2 audience member experience.

2. In conjunction with E(levator) there will be two other plays going on. One called Students for 12 audience members. And the other called Friends for 4 audience members.

3. E(levator), Students and Friends will each be performed 3 times a night on the following dates Previews August 29th. Official performance nights Sept 1, 4 & 5.

4. E(levator) will cost $65 and last approximately 55 minutes, Friends will cost $43.75 and last approximately 35 minutes. Students will cost $43.75 and last approximately 45 minutes.

5. All shows will be at 939 Studio, in conjunction with Think Tank Gallery’s Drinkin’ Smokin’ & West Coastin’, but will have meeting places to start in the surrounding area. Keep an eye out in your email for arrival instructions.

6. Preview night might include some growing pains but will also include the chance to attend a Preview Night Q&A/Drinks after the evening is over at a TBA location.

7. There will be touching.

8. All 3 shows will allow you to receive a sticker on your ABC Project stamp card.

9. We ask that you please use your discretion when buying tickets, especially due to the extremely limited number of tickets available for E(levator).
