Murder! at The Strand, an immersive theatrical who-dun-it, is back by popular demand and will be extending its sold out April run on June 7–10, 2018. Using all of The Strand — including its beautiful 500-seat auditorium and proscenium stage — this interactive event challenges the audience to identify the true story behind a nefarious crime and the criminal with the motive to commit it. Perfect for mystery enthusiasts, escape room fans, play veterans, and non-theatre goers alike, Murder! at The Strand is an opportunity for patrons to experience the historic Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre as never before.
Created by director and playwright Corey Bradberry and escape room designer Jeremy Ledbetter, this 75 minute interactive experience will invite patrons to take on the roles of audience members, witnesses to a crime, and ultimately investigators following clues, interacting with the actors, and examining the space to identify the culprit. Patrons will be given the chance to explore many areas of the theatre not typically open to guests, making this an exciting opportunity to see ‘behind the scenes’ of the historic theatre.
Tickets are $45 and are on sale now. Very limited tickets available. This is an extended run of April’s show and will not feature new material. This show involves exploring the theatre, so patrons are encouraged to wear attire comfortable for some walking.
