The Metropolitan Museum of Art has commissioned Japanese-born choreographer and dancer Eiko Otake to create three new site-specific works as part of her ongoing work, A Body in Places. As part of A Body in Places, Eiko (known by her first name) has performed in train stations, warehouses, and libraries all over the world, as well as the nuclear disaster in Fukushima, Japan. A Body In Places — The Met Edition is co-presented by the Metropolitan Museum and Performa 17: CIRCULATIONS.
