The Fringe Festival, presented by FringeArts, is a 17-day, city-wide celebration of innovation and creativity in contemporary performance. Here’s a small sampling of the immersive and immersive-adjacent offerings (compiled with help from Kat Hinkel, creator of SPIES!):
Chaos Theory*: What exactly is chaos and why do we fear it? 666 days after the 2016 election, it’s about time to find out.
FIGMAGO: FIGMAGO is part art installation, part room escape, and all parts wonderfully immersive.
The FREN BANKLIN Experience: Allow Fren Banklin, the NOTORIOUSLY UNRELIABLE cousin of Ben Franklin, to regale you with the fascinating stories buried beneath your floorboards.
Plunge: Get your lounge gear out and prep for 1960s Palm Springs…by way of 10th and Hamilton, that is.
R&J*: A two-player, multi-day game based on the unmitigated emo clusterf*ck that is Romeo and Juliet.
SPIES! A Tech-Immersive Comedy: Agent, your goal is to eliminate the threat and save your country.
UNHINGED: Enjoy a cocktail at the bar but know the door you choose next will determine your outcome.
An Unofficial, Unauthorized Tour of LOVE Park: An interactive, questions-encouraged tour of LOVE Park with a completely legitimate, highly respected, and 100% real tour company.
