Calling all evil-doers and hench-people! The ever brilliant villain Madcap is in need of minions to aid in a cunning heist to retrieve a special device. The target will be the secret headquarters of the Pioneer Guardians, the Pioneer City hero team always thwarting villains’ plans. All applications are accepted! Bring your own villainy! No experience required!
Crime & Villainy in Pioneer City is a student designed and built escape room, created during the course CS 281 / IA 281 Designing Escape Rooms in Fall 2018, co-taught by Professors Ira Fay and Peter Kallok. It is the result of an interdisciplinary collaboration between Hampshire College theatre and game designers. In this experience, players will act as a supervillain’s hench-folks, breaking into a superhero team headquarters to obtain a special device.
The escape room is designed for groups of 4–5 players. You are encouraged to sign up as a group, though individuals are also welcome, and should ideally be paired with others to reach the 4–5 person target. If fewer than 5 tickets are available for your time slot, that means other people have already signed up — please join them to make groups of 4 or 5!
