Submersive Productions is welcoming performers of all races, body types, ages, and gender expressions, to attend one three-hour workshop. The same workshop will be offered at two different sessions on Saturday, September 15 — from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 3 to 6 p.m. Participants only need to sign up for one session and they can choose whichever time is most convenient for them.
Since 2015, Submersive Productions has brought artists together in deep collaboration to create memorable audience experiences. We are looking to expand our circle of performers and reach out to artists we might not yet have met. We like to take time to get to know each of our collaborators and this workshop can be seen as the opening of a conversation. We will be sharing some of our techniques for developing immersive, interactive, audience-focused work with an emphasis on movement.
This workshop will also serve as an informal first audition for a large-scale movement piece called MASS/RABBLE.
