Sung in English, this production of Bartók’s haunting Bluebeard’s Castle puts the audience in the middle of the action as Bluebeard’s new wife, Judith, discovers the dark secrets of his past. Video artwork by Chris Bagley and the dancers of Whitney Waugh Dance create each castle room (and secret) Judith finds. After exploring every room, Judith must decide if she can truly bring light to Bluebeard’s dark, gloomy castle.
