Shockheaded Peter is a delightfully macabre adaptation of 19th century German children’s book Der Struwwelpeter. The book recounts several varieties of misbehaving children and their dreadful ends. This punk opera adaptation, which opened on the West End in London in 1998 and ran for several world tours, cranks up both the comedy and Grand Guignol to 11.

In Artistic Director Amanda Berg Wilson’s multi-generational, immersive staging, The Catamounts will examine how terrifying parenting can be, especially when we try and let children be their strange, independent selves.

Content Advisories: Haze and strobe light. As this piece is staged immersively, no coats or bags will be allowed into the theatre. We are dancing and singing all over the place, kinders, so we don’t want the performers–or you–to trip. There will be a place to hang your coat–please leave purses and backpacks at home.

We can accommodate all folks with physical challenges. Just let us know in advance!
