Sliding into immersive like…
It’s definitely a new year now as new shows are starting to pop up on the horizon, CES just finished in Las Vegas, and the gears here over at NoPro are cranking away. We’ve got a ton of stuff on the way just! For! You!
Thanks to everybody who came out to Two Bit Circus last week for the first ever NoPro Live; you’ll find that recording on this week’s episode of the podcast below!

ON THE PODCAST THIS WEEK
For our fifth anniversary, we wanted to do something special, and we maybe went a little over the top.
We hit up Two Bit Circus, where Josh Randall (Blackout) coordinates immersive experiences and got ahold of Club 01… and kicked the tires on a “late night” format.
Brent Bushnell and Eric Gradman — the founders of Two Bit Circus are our first guests. Followed by Lauren Ludwig and Monica Miklas of Capital W, birthday boy Josh Randall (no, really, it was his BIRTHDAY and he did this for us), Stash House LA’s Tommy Honton, and Steve Boyle of Epic Immersive who came down from SF.
Anthony Robinson announces. Chris Porter does the music live. Ian Momii jumped in to run the soundboard at the last minute, and Noah Nelson is your host.

From David & Lisa Spira of Room Escape Artist:
“Escape Room, the movie released this week, exceeded our expectations. It’s difficult to write puzzles for on-screen actors to solve within a narrative and still present them in a solvable manner for the audience, and the movie largely succeeded in this. Unfortunately, the final act took a nose dive into utter nonsense.”
“After the recent tragedy in Poland, we are doing our best to make sure the media and the general public understand that the majority of escape room businesses care deeply about safety and always provide emergency exits. At REA, we will continue to cover the tragedy in Poland and escape room safety in the coming weeks.”
From Kellian Adams Pletcher, Green Door Labs:
“Caroline Murphy, President of Boston FIG (festival of Indie Games) and co-founder of Incantrix was just honored with a Bit award at Playcrafting!! Just another reminder of how immersive in Boston is being largely driven by our exceptional indie games community!”
