New York Comic Con meets Spooky Season
No Proscenium and Everything Immersive This Week is brought to you by:

This week in immersive: Magic Leap’s alternate reality game involving Charity Kong/The Yarnies/Stupefying Yarns continued at New York Comic Con (we really hope Kevin is OK), while the Unknown 9’s Leap Year Society began inducting people at the McKittrick Hotel. Some folks successfully completed the first Guinness World Record Escape Room Attempt in Russia, and ARG #NOFILTER kicked off with a bang (and we’ve been gathering players on the NoPro Slack).
Founder/Publisher of No Proscenium Noah J. Nelson also had the chance to write up our backstory for Immerse:
We’ve also got a new episode of the podcast, some Immersive Design Summit news, and two upcoming meetups in NYC! And we at NoPro have been reviewing escape games and haunts and LARPs and immersive theatre shows left and right.
In case you hadn’t heard, we recently lost one of our high dollar Patreon backers.
We’d really appreciate your support in building back up to our next goal. Start today by pledging $1/month:

“Northeastern is revving up to run its first ever kindness and empathy game jam in a few months, which is a type of game jam that’s starting to make its way across the country this year. This makes me so happy. After the last few years you start to wonder if people will ever be civil again and I’m proud that game designers are starting to lead a charge in that direction.”
