A Bela e a Fera Salon, an evening of Clarice Lispector short stories in dance, will take place on Sunday, July 22 at the Bendix Building. The historic building’s rooftop is home to the offices of the Heidi Duckler Dance Theatre. The night will revolve around three of Lispector’s thought provoking stories, all narrated by Paula Rebelo and accompanied by music from M83’s Joe Berry. The intimate solo performances -one danced on the rooftop by Haylee Nichele, one performed on a set piece in the foyer and one danced on film by Heidi Duckler — will be followed by conversation and supper.
