The show’s initial astounding run of over 100 performances done one audience member at a time occurred in June of 2016. The show won the O Face Award for Best Acting at the Hollywood Fringe and was nominated for Top of the Fringe, Best World Premiere, Best Movement or Dance Piece, Spirit of the Fringe Award and the Duende Distinction Award. At the 2017 Hollywood Fringe A(partment 8) won the first-ever Best Immersive Theater award and was performed for 124 times. In April of 2017 the show was adapted for the Overlook Film Festival in Oregon as The Chalet, performed for 64 audience members.
