CREATURE, presented by The Great Company, is an interactive dance performance. The four elements have been summoned to spawn a transformation for a one night only ritual. The audience will enter a realm of silence, aid in the preparations of the ritual, and bear witness to a final rebirth.
Director, Justin Denton (Creator of Chained: A Victorian Nightmare) and choreographer/dancer Haylee Nichele (Performer in Sleep No More and Chained) are coming together for their first workshop collaboration. CREATURE is an experiment in stripping an idea down to it’s essence. In removing the layers of excess narrative, they have landed on a primal rebirth.
Audiences will be ushered into the ritual in groups of 12, will be offered to actively participate in some scenes, as well as sit on the floor. Volume levels may be very high and minor touch is possible. The duration of the piece is approximately 30 minutes.
This is a workshop production. At this time we are not allowing the press to review or are offering press comps.
