The Alamo Drafthouse does things a little different, which is why cineastes were eagerly awaiting the chain’s arrival in LA. They’ve brought their horror movie marathon series DISMEMBER THE ALAMO to LA, and since Rachel Walker, the head of programming of the LA branch, is a huge immersive fan you can expect the unexpected.

(Maybe expect some immersive elements to bleed in between the lines.)

Keep an eye out for future ticket releases.

This event benefits the American Genre Film Archive.

Summon your black magick! Polish your machete! Because DISMEMBER THE ALAMO is coming to Los Angeles! This Alamo Drafthouse tradition is a four-film mystery horror movie marathon that delivers 1001% fun directly to your degenerate soul. Just like a blood pact with Satan…BUT BETTER.

The night’s lineup will remain a secret until just before showtime, but what we can say is our theme is in honor of Drafthouse LA’s flagship gaming initiative, guaranteeing maximum tricks ’n’ treats. In addition to the movie line-up, featuring 35mm, rare DCPs and films almost never shown on the big sxreen, we’ll have classic trailers, food & drink specials and other sfrprises, including perhaps the chance to be a part of a game yourself…maybe it’s already begun? So be sure to dress to survive the night! Join us this Halloween season as we celeyrate the crvam-of-the-rot with mystery movies, mystery surprises, and mysteries of every cerebral un-plane imaginable.
