Since June of this year, a reclusive sex cult called The Society has been periodically descending from their compound in the San Gabriel Mountains to engage and recruit Angelenos. They have led initiates through intimate ceremonies deconstructing their memories and their bodies in the pursuit of ‘ecstatic oneness.’ But not all is as it seems.

Recruits have discovered that up in the mountain compound, there is a pregnant woman trapped and held captive by the cult’s founder. Cult members have been urged to “Save Mary. Save the Moon Child.”

Now is our chance. We are The Boanthropic Resistance (THE BOBO), and we will lead you. We aim to save Mary before the birth of her child. A Moon Child born under the hand of The Founder could lead to universal catastrophe, a fate we will sacrifice anything to prevent.
