Inspired by the ancient Greek myth of the women of Lemnos, Punchdrunk’s new show Kabeiroi is a two-person adventure that takes place across London over the course of six hours, and appears to involve small enclosed spaces, strobe lights, public transit, lots of walking, and being outdoors, given all of the warnings on their web site. Bowers & Wilkins are also involved, so we expect headphones & sound to play a large role in this new work.
Tickets are extremely limited and will only be sold in pairs, via lottery. Lottery registration is open until September 10, 2017 at 6pm local time.
It seems safe to say that this will be the immersive event of 2017, given the small audience capacity (less than 900 tickets in total) and the fact that it’s, well, Punchdrunk (Sleep No More, The Drowned Man, etc.).
