After a successful run at St.-Ambroise Montreal Fringe Fest 2019, Antonin Artaud’s SPURT OF BLOOD returns with a very special one night event that you will not want to miss! Start your Halloween night off with the bloodiest immersive dance party of the year!

Marissa Blair creates an immersive and sensorial theatre experience in SPURT OF BLOOD — a play written by Antonin Artaud during the development of his philosophy, the Theatre of Cruelty. Artaud’s morally rigorous and violent criteria for spectacle are employed in this multilingual production which includes projections, intense soundscapes, and stage blood. Audience members sit in a circle facing each other, and the spectacle happens around them, and inside the circle, encompassing the entire performance space.
