2026 #41
So the PLAN this week was NO NEWSLETTER as today is my birthday – actual actual – and I like to take it off BUUUUUUT, I saw a fun show last night that is only open for one more night (it had a two night run) and we had a HUGE week on the site, including a Rundown, a big Thursday, and our first full Pod since last month.
So this is my birthday present to YOU: a recommendation, our latest articles, and three listings, two of which are for next weekend only in L.A. and one is the Seattle edition of a Southland fave.
One Night Left In Santa Monica: Ghosts of the Miles

Some of the Ghosts of the Miles.
I didn't know what exactly Ghosts of the Miles would be, but I knew that I was curious as to what actor Katie Rediger had crafted in her immersive directing debut. Turns out it's a spooky and sweet ode to theatre at a historic community performance space in Santa Monica that features a killer six person cast that includes former DIAVOLO co-choreographer Majella Bess and... well there's another that's a spoiler and even saying that may be too much.
You've got just TONIGHT to go catch the show, but tickets are only $17! There are three tracks and it lasts about 30-40 minutes. Enough to catch two tracks if you want. (I only caught one, as I took the late show.)

GET LISTED!!!
Kathryn and the team set up the EI listings that show producers don't submit themselves, so that there is a newsletter to make. But what we love to see is event producers doing it for themselves.
So if you want a shot at seeing your work listed here or in our social feeds submit a listing at Everything Immersive for the opportunity. Help us help you.
Just, please: make sure your listing explains how your event is immersive. It's incredible how many people don't really do that.

LOS ANGELES
American Healthcare: The Haunted House🎃

Comedian Kylie Vincent's 9-month, sold-out run of her live stand-up comedy hour, Lesion Lady (which is currently being made into a documentary comedy special), chronicles her journey from being hospitalized with no insurance after her entire left side went numb, leading to a shocking MS (Mega Slut) disease diagnosis. Immediately after discharge, Kylie Vincent took to the stage with her cane and new jokes written in her hospital bed about her brain lesion (lesiondary) and navigating the broken American Healthcare System. Kylie went on to perform stand up nearly every night, crafting her new comedy hour within weeks of her unexpected and life-altering days as the “youngest and tightest” patient in the neurology unit.
Kylie Vincent, Jordan Thewlis and a team of creative collaborators, along with DSP and The Elysian are coming together on Halloween weekend to invite the LA community into a fully immersive haunted house experience that will bring participants face-to-face with the horrors of the healthcare system. American Healthcare: The Haunted House will take place at DSP Studios Oct 29th - Oct 31st. Kylie will also headline a Lesion Lady standup marathon at the Elysian Theater on Oct 30th. Proceeds will go toward offsetting Kylie’s ghastly medical costs.
