Join us at SMUSH Gallery for a series of open and free performances on Saturday and Sunday August 11 and 12 to experience the immersive work of “Isla”. “Isla” is a new work that explores the one year anniversary of Hurricane Maria on the Island of Puerto Rico through text, Afro-Latin movement, sound, physical theater,and contemporary dance forms. Performances are at 5p and 7p each day.

“Isla” features a Canary alter set by artist Chiquita Brujita.
