PUBLIC is proud to host the premiere of Carmen, a dynamic new adaptation of the classic tale, in their cutting edge performance space, Public Arts. The iconic story of Carmen, Don Jose and Escamillo is told in a completely compelling new light. Inspired by the 1950’s jet-set haven of Havana’s infamous Tropicana Club; love, jealousy, and betrayal take center stage as Carmen’s fateful last night unfolds around the audience in a vibrant 360 degree spectacle of live music and dance that is sure to surprise, delight and engage.
Guests are invited to dress on theme in 1950’s club attire and be swept away with Carmen and her lovers to decades past. No entry for jeans, t-shirts, sneakers etc. Dress to impress!
