You wake to find yourself in The Chamber — an unknown place where you will not age, you will never go hungry or grow sick and you will never die. Your memories, however, are becoming unreliable. You scrawl them into notebooks, etch them into the Chamber’s walls, but even then they are forgotten far too fast to feel quite real. You don’t know what this place is. You don’t know if you were chosen to be here and if so why. You simply… are.
Fade is a surreal existential exploration of the meaning of life, love and family. It’s about living in an environment with limited privacy. It’s about the unreliability of memory, and the lengths we go to in order to preserve what we know. It’s a psychological live action role-play experience with minimal mechanics and no hidden plots. It is an opportunity to explore what happens when memories fade, but feelings remain, and the only way to escape another’s presence is to disappear into nothingness.
