Event Link

A riotous clan from ‘The Old Country’ greets you with libations and divinations then takes you inside the ‘box’ where they embark on their wildly ritualistic take on Macbeth. In Dzieci’s Makbet, Shakespeare’s ageless tale of greed, omens, and foul deeds, comes alive through the unflinching performance of a handful of actors who take turns spontaneously trading off parts, (quite literally) at the drop of a hat.

For MAKBET, the entire ensemble has learned each role within The Scottish Play; roles are constantly exchanged between actors between scenes, ensuring no two performances are ever the same.

Note: this performance takes place in a shipping container and may become quite warm inside. The door is typically left ajar for ventilation but participants should be prepared for warm weather inside the container.
