Based on the play by Sylvia Regan, Morning Star tells the tale of a Jewish, immigrant family, struggling to make it on the Lower East Side in early 20th century New York City; this site-specific opera will be performed at the Museum at Eldridge Street, located at the historic 1887 Eldridge Street Synagogue. Shows on March 25 are scheduled to coincide with the 107th anniversary of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire.
