We’re turning our warehouse space into a cyberpunk Chuck E. Cheese’s complete with custom games, puzzles, and of course, prizes.
This event serves as the third stage in the Future Proof universe of interactive narrative, and follows Please Party Thank You (our vaporwave dance party with interactive quests), and A Death Well Died (a murder mystery featuring puzzles built into exotic artifacts). It’s enjoyable as a stand-alone event, but if you’ve been to our previous parties… you probably stopped a few paragraphs ago and already bought a ticket.
THE STORY SO FAR:
The Buddy Resistance needs you to help them stop the evil Luxury Universal [e]Xperience Corporation (LUX). LUX is still trying to acquire the mysterious cube, and The Buddy Resistance, a group of lucky misfits who have escaped LUX’s corporate grasp, is holding a recruitment party to amass an army of hackers to crack into the cube and make sure that never happens.
But there’s a twist. A LUX-loyal group called The Troubleshooters is attending the event as part of a peace accord. They also want the data in the cube, but are determined to do it through non-invasive means. Which group will you side with? How will you alter the course of events?
