Project Ascension is a 360-degree live-action role-playing event with pervasive game elements, taking place over two nights and one day. Participants will enter a dystopian vision of New York City set 15 minutes into the future. Each person will be cast in a role as someone living off the grid in a cyberpunk world, doing dangerous missions throughout the city for individuals known only as the “Messengers,” complete with interactions with other characters/actors in the world. Attendees will attend a workshop Friday night, learn about their custom character, meet their “crew,” and then have a chance the next day to hack the matrix and learn about the conspiracy unfolding around them, all culminating in a party Saturday night with a live band and open bar.

Two meals, snacks, and the open bar during finale party are included in the ticket price; overnight accommodations for Friday & Saturday night near the venue are available for an additional fee. Participants must be 21+; themes include mature content, including violence, sexuality, and profanity.
