This family-friendly opera lasts 20 minutes and takes place in the Hall of Saurischian Dinosaurs. Rhoda & the Fossil Hunt tells the story 8-year-old Rhoda Knight Kalt and her trips to the museum with her grandfather, the famed paleoartist Charles R. Knight.

Rhoda & the Fossil Hunt was co-commissioned & co-produced with Lyric Opera of Chicago’s Lyric Unlimited & Pittsburgh Opera, in partnership with The American Museum of Natural History.
