Escape to Freedom will take audience members through space in time in this interactive and immersive experience. Actors will guide and thwart audiences as they try to escape antebellum slave life.
Hear the stories that are not written in history books. Join MOJOAA Performing Arts Company at Mordecai Historic Park, formerly one of the largest plantations in Eastern North Carolina, for an interactive and immersive experience.
Grounded in research and WPA slave narratives, Escape To Freedom will take you on a journey into American slavery.
Wear comfortable shoes as you will be moving through the park during the experience.
