Maria Irene Fornes’ 1977 play is both a forerunner of the current immersive renaissance and a living document from the second wave of feminism.

Oracle Performing Arts presents this production in a historic National City home.

In this high-spirited, absurd and somewhat disturbing play, set in 1935, eight women gather in a country home for a weekend party, only to discover that one of them has fallen victim to a mysterious force. Be present for an intimate understanding of their friendships, dreams and nightmares.

Cuban-American playwright Maria Irene Fornes was awarded one of her 9 Obie Awards for this play.
