Inspired by acclaimed performances such as Then She Fell and Sleep No More, this piece explores a modern interpretation of Greek mythology while closing the divide between audience and actor.
Throughout their time in the home of Zeus and Hera, guests are led throughout the space to view primarily movement-based scenes in groups of five or less; they may even be invited to interact with a character one-on-one. By connecting with characters and inspecting the room around them, guests may find that there’s something more than a dinner party to be found.
Please note that this performance requires audience members to move throughout Cowles Auditorium, including climbing a medium-sized staircase. However, the production is committed to making this performance as accessible as possible, and is able to adapt the performance accordingly. For questions about mobility or other accessibility concerns, please contact: thenyxprojectwu@gmail.com.
