The year is 1906, and the Carnival is back in Boston! The famed Carnevale di Oscurità has been traveling the globe since 1902, delighting and terrifying audiences with death-defying acts and heart-stopping performances. Some say the terror doesn’t stop when the curtain falls, however. Rumors abound that when the carnival comes to town, people go missing. Sometimes they’re found– wandering in the woods, hollow-eyed and mute– and sometimes they are never seen again. Will you discover the origins of the carnival and uncover the secrets of what is happening behind the scenes?

The last time the circus was in Boston, it drew the attention of the authorities, who interrupted a secret final act, which was never completed. Now that they have returned, will they dare to attempt the same feat again? And will you help or hinder the characters in achieving their various goals?

There is a deep immersive storyline to discover at the carnival. We highly encourage you to visit the Fortune Teller’s Booth, the Confectionary, the Apothecary, and attempt to discover other secret locations by interacting with the various characters and solving the challenges they pose.

We highly encourage you to dress in your 1906 finery or circus reveler best. Aesthetic attire is recommended but not required.
