Here at No Proscenium, we chart the future of immersive art & entertainment on a global scale thanks to an amazing network of volunteers and contributors.

Because we’re a labor of love, whose sole source of income is a Patreon, we don’t make a habit of calling for contributors.

Yet this year, we’re shifting our stance.

We started NoPro in order to create a platform for the work of emerging immersive artists, and in order to continue that mission we know it is time to grow the team.

We’re looking for writers interested in reviewing immersive theatre, VR, AR, and pop-up interactive experiences around the United States and abroad. We’ll be straight forward: there’s no compensation beyond in-town transport stipends when requested and within reason. (Parking, lyfts, etc.)

We’re especially interested in reviewers in places that we don’t currently have geographical representation and writers from marginalized communities looking to build their portfolio or do a deep dive on immersive work. Good criticism is a prism, not a consumer report.

We don’t ask for exclusive rights to your work, just first publication credit. If you have crowdfunding efforts to support your work financially, our social channels are open for our contributors for signal boost.

Email us at pitches@noproscenium.com if you’re interested.
