Shotgun Players
Looking for: 3–5 minute pieces
Compensation & Benefits: $500/team
Deadline: April 25th
RFP LINK
As part of our 30th anniversary celebration, Shotgun Players is commissioning 30 new pieces of online content, 3–5 minutes in length, that seek to imagine and celebrate what theater and the world can become over the next 30 years. Each piece will take its igniting spark from one of the 150+ plays we’ve produced. You might respond to the story, themes, characters, aesthetics, design elements, or some other aspect of the show. Creative innovation has always leapt off past experience to forge new thought. We hope you’ll find fresh inspiration among our past work, repurposing the old to create new dreams for the future. We will share these original pieces with our community via email and social media platforms starting in early July.
Each creative team will receive a $500 commissioning fee, paid to the lead artist listed on the proposal. The lead artist will be responsible for disbursing funds to other collaborators.
