Upended Productions remounts Alice, the ambulatory, multi-disciplinary theatrical experience, created and curated by Neo-Futurist alumna Noelle Krimm. Led by the White Rabbit into storerooms and back patios, through bookstores and taprooms and gift shows, the audience (in groups of 15) is Alice and Evanston’s Main-Dempster Mile becomes Wonderland. You never know what’s around the corner as Chicago’s best fringe theater companies, live lit performers, musicians, and film artists reimagine chapters of the classic novel.

*Although there is nothing too inappropriate in the show, we want you to be aware it is not specifically designed to be children’s entertainment. We have had plenty of children enjoy it, we just want you to be aware that it isn’t children’s theater. If you do bring children, we just ask that you please keep them within arm’s reach due to traffic and stairs and whatnot.

Content Advisories: The show takes place both indoors and out and will commence rain or shine. Comfortable walking shoes, dressing for the weather, and leaving any heavy bags/backpacks behind are highly recommended.

This experience is not wheelchair accessible. Alice requires walking and standing for extended stretches and ascending/descending several sets of staircases.
