This past week Claus Raasted reached out to us on behalf of The College of Extraordinary Experiences, a one-of-a-kind annual gathering at Czocha Castle in Poland that brings together professional designers and academics for a shared learning experience.

Or as they put it:

This is not a classic conference, where you get to sit and listen, eat good food and go home a little wiser. Here you learn through story and play. The College is both a place where experience design is in focus, but also an experience in and of itself. This means no speakers and no lectures, but participatory experiences and a co-created event.

This year’s College will run for five days — September 23–27, 2019 — and the College, through Claus, is offering up two invitations to the College to the highest bidder.

The proceeds will be split between the College and No Proscenium.

Now individual invitations run 3600 EUR (about $3,992) for “Academic” tickets and 7200 EUR (about $7,985 at current exchange rates) for “Business” class tickets.

We’re setting the reserve for the pair of invitations at $5,000. That’s just $2,500 a ticket. (Compare that to $15,916 for a pair of Business tickets.)
