A new, innovative pop-up will bring the majesty and wilderness of the Arctic Refuge from the far reaches of northern Alaska to visitors in New York City, Washington, DC, and San Francisco for a limited time through an immersive, multi-sensory Experience that will transport them as they journey through the seasons and from night to day in this beautiful landscape.
Produced by The Wilderness Society this experience created by Future Colossal is harnessing technology, design, and art to drive action to preserve this unspoiled landscape, which Big Oil is seeking to open to drilling for the first time ever. This immersive 4D experience utilizes over 66 Million pixels of projected video, atmospherics, reflections, programmable wind, custom scents, tactile sensations, depth sensing, gesture tracking, 28 controllable lights, and 15 channels of sound to transport visitors to the wilderness of the Arctic Refuge.
100% of net proceeds will go to the Gwich’in Steering Committee and Gwich’in Youth Council.
