With equal parts excitement and caution, Control Group Productions is leading the way out of quarantine with CAVALCADE! — an immersive caravan + multi-site performance experience for audiences in cars. CAVALCADE! is a 9-mile drive through Denver, with live performance at multiple sites along the route. Audiences stay in their vehicles (except one invitation to try some social distancing), watching the event through their windshields, with a sound score delivered by an FM radio transmission.

This uniquely structured performance celebrates culture and community in the face of the current crisis, and reflects the innovation of our creative industries as we find new ways to come together in this difficult time. Lasting from pre-sunset through full dark, the event takes guests on a dream-like journey through familiar neighborhoods and hidden corners of Denver.

The event creates a bubble of alternate reality around the caravan, in an artistic experience thoroughly embedded in the fabric of our city. Masks and closed-toed shoes if you want to disembark when invited (not required). This event is designed for safety, but YOU are required to drive safely, wear a mask if you exit your vehicle, and follow all Control Group staff directions. Failure to do so may mean that you cannot continue to participate in the event. Control Group is not responsible for personal property, including vehicle collisions.
