So much happening this week. So much. Oculus announced what experiences will be available on the Quest at launch. Magic Leap announced their Games of Thrones experience. Ubisoft told us about their new VR escape room set in the Assassin’s Creed world. A few Disney Imagineers spoke about their approach to participation and world-building at GDC.
As for NoPro, we played in the world of Just Fix It Productions’ The Willows for the podcast, asked the fine folks at Immersive Gatsby about adapting the show for deaf and blind audiences, interviewed some of the folks exhibiting at the upcoming Tribeca Immersive, released our video interview with David Wally of Mycotoo about their work on #SXSWesteros, reported on all the immersive activations at SXSW, reviewed some fascinating immersive productions, and also put out a huge number of show announcements this week.
As always, we can only do this with YOUR support! No Proscenium is supported by Thymele Arts…

“SCRAP, the creators of the escape room, have once again created a unique escape game structure clever enough that it could be a genre unto itself. Spellbound Supper used a combination of real life objects, projection, and a Microsoft Kinect to allow us to gesture and interact with the projected items.”
“EscapeSF’s Space Bus was a retired school bus transformed into a spaceship… and a beautiful one at that. If you’re interested in mobile escape rooms, this is a must-play.”
