Virtual reality startup Dreamscape Immersive — which is backed by some of the biggest names in Hollywood — is opening its first permanent location in Los Angeles, with three multiplayer VR experiences at launch; additional locations will roll out soon to Dallas/Ft. Welcome to Dreamscape, a VR experience like no other. Every adventure will transport you to worlds beyond imagination. Departures begin this December 14 from Westfield Century City. Dreamscape uses the most advanced VR technologies to create an entirely new form of mainstream location based entertainment.

Alien Zoo: For the first time ever, the IWF is inviting humans to visit the Alien Zoo. Come take a breathtaking tour of a wildlife refuge in space, where the IWF has gathered an astounding assortment of lifeforms from the far corners of the universe to save them from extinction. Come face to face with endangered species from across the galaxy. Some friendly. Some ferocious. All rare and wondrous creatures.

Lavan’s Magic Projector: In 1936, American inventor Clarissa Lavan announced an invention that would change motion pictures forever — the Haptioscope, a projector that not only showed movies, but allowed you to enter into them. But on the night before its premiere, Clarissa mysteriously vanished, and her invention was lost to time. Until now. Dreamscape Immersive has rebuilt the fabled Haptioscope. Those brave enough to step into its unknown worlds, need only to turn it on.

The Blu: Below the surface lives the largest creature on Earth: the blue whale. These majestic giants once ruled the oceans, but now they need our help. Venture deep beneath the waves to a research station, where you’ll join an elite team of divers on an urgent quest. Power up an AquaScooter and maneuver through shipwrecks, ravines and circling marine life to help reunite a baby whale with its family. Soon you’ll discover that in an ocean full of wonders, the blue is the most wondrous of all.
