IMMERSIVE is a new DTLA Film Festival program that showcases Virtual Reality, Interactive Visual Narrative, 360/VR, Augmented Reality, as well as location based Hyper Reality experiences that extend beyond the headset — all of which reimagine traditional cinema. Housed at LA Live in Downtown Los Angeles, participants will explore over 14,000 Sq Ft of immersive experiences that converge new technologies with storytelling, encouraging social and creative connection.

Founded in 2008, DTLA Film Festival has become the largest single film event in
the historic center of Los Angeles. Over the past decade the festival has presented
more than a thousand features and shorts, including narrative, documentary,
experimental films and web series. As part of our 10 year anniversary we are proud to announce the premiere of our new frontiers program- IMMERSIVE.
