“Los Angeles, November 2019” is implanted in the memories of sci-fi movie fans around the globe.
A vision of a future noir Los Angeles hit screens in 1982 and has been celebrated, imitated, and anticipated ever since. The current future we live in may not be exactly what we were promised (or warned about) in the 80s, but we are looking to change that.
Nexus 2019 is a future-noir-themed pop-up bar slated to hit downtown LA this November. It will be a completely immersive experience, featuring a fully-designed retro-future interior, themed craft cocktails, food, costumed actors, and countless details for attendees to explore and interact with.
This is a passion project from a group of entertainment and hospitality industry veterans, all of whom were heavily influenced by the iconic 1982 film and are intent on delivering the ultimate fan experience.
