Late 19th century. Victorian-era Los Angeles. Summertime.
The night air is fresh, the flowers are in bloom and the darkness is, oh so welcoming…
You have just been invited to attend the annual Summer Floral Soirée of socialite couple, Mr. & Mrs. Stanway, at their gorgeous estate. As you dance with strangers, judge flowers, and converse with eclectic guests… bad omens begin to dampen the merriment.
Paranoia quickly seeps into the festivities: romances shatter, illness strikes, and creatures emerge from the shadows. As the Green Waltz plays on, will you keep your wits about you — or be seduced by the madness?
THE GREEN WALTZ is a 50-minute, site-specific, interactive production, featuring some of the strongest immersive theater actors in Los Angeles. In an experience that encompasses multiple authentic Victorian homes, audiences of 13 will be transported into a Victorian world of the strange & surreal, filled with horrific truths and deadly consequences.
