In the style of New York’s Sleep No More and last season’s Thus With A Kiss I Die at MSU, a quartet of Lansing locals brings you something completely new and surprising.
Peppermint Creek and the Broad Art Museum collaborate to bring Framing Device, an original immersive theatre experience to Lansing audiences! Immersive theatre puts the audience right in the action with the actors, and will tell a story of art criticism, the artist’s process, and if beauty truly IS in the eye of the beholder, with the Broad Art Museum as a canvas.
In this immersive theatre piece, you may choose infinite experiences.
Follow one actor for the evening.
Stay in limited locations and let the action come to you.
Or follow whichever storyline intrigues you most.

Content Advisories: This performance is not recommended for audience members who are not comfortable standing, walking, climbing stairs or being alone. Because of the immersive nature of this piece, audiences may be standing for several minutes at a time over the course of the performance and will also be required to navigate flights of stairs (though an elevator is present at the Broad Art Museum). Audiences are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes.
