In “Hollow Moon,” the first immersive experience from Vigilance Theater Group, 12 audience members per performance will follow characters throughout a house, discussing how to escape a desperate and dangerous situation. Group scenes will give way to private encounters with cast members; eventually, audience members will choose who to trust and who to follow.
The ending of the show is determined by the success of the audience as a group, and the choices of individual audience members.
Inspired in part by Shirley Jackson’s “The Haunting of Hill House,” “Hollow Moon” blurs the line between audience and performer while still offering a carefully crafted story and dialogue.
