In the near future, after a volcanic eruption causes major environmental changes, an American scientist travels to India to understand the disappearance of a subspecies of butterfly. On this journey, she faces personal choices that will determine her family’s future.
Year Without Summer is a theatrical play delivered entirely through text messages (SMS & MMS) to your personal smartphone. You’ll be cast as the main character (but don’t worry — you don’t have to make up any lines!). You’ll receive text messages from other characters, sharing bits of the story with you over time. In a lot of ways, it’s like diving head first into a novel and living out the story.
Every day, you’ll receive several text messages from the characters (about 3–6 per day). The story will unfold in real-time, and you’ll get more info every day.
