Taking place exactly five years after the events of Safehouse ’77, the site-specific thriller Safehouse ’82 will once again immerse audiences in the culture and atmosphere of its particular era. This time, however, guests should be prepared to play a much more significant role in the story: their choices will directly impact the show’s outcome, and the fates of key characters will be in their hands. Vastly different endings will be possible depending on how the audience works together to complete the evening’s mission.

The plot of Safehouse ’82 draws heavily on true events from the CIA’s history, and
details of espionage tactics and technology will be incorporated into the interactive elements of the show, all with the goal of making audiences feel like they are truly inside a high-tension spy film. Also, while Safehouse ’77 utilized a system of pre-assigned audience tracks, Safehouse ’82 will provide guests with a higher level of agency, creating a “sandbox” environment in which they are often free to move between different rooms, characters, and experiences.
