Hedda Gabler tells the story of a complex woman trapped in a time when women weren’t allowed to be complex. This site-specific production of Henrik Ibsen’s classic play will take place at the Dyckman Farmhouse Museum in Inwood, the oldest remaining Dutch colonial farmhouse on the island of Manhattan.

Audience members will get to explore the house and watch the drama of Hedda Gabler unfold up close and in authentic historical surroundings.
