Out of the Woods: A couple escape into the wilderness determined to figure out once and for all whether they should stay together or call it quits. Out of the Woods is a comedic songplay about lost love, nostalgia and regret. Performed site-specifically on Cedar Island.
Tales of an Urban Indian: The story of Simon Douglas, a contemporary Indigenous man, who grows up on both the reserve in British Columbia and in Vancouver. The play conjures up many characters that appear in Simon’s life as seen through his eyes, all played by one actor. Patrons are passengers on the bus, bearing witness to Simon’s journey and ultimately to his healing. Tales of an Urban Indian is staged on a moving city bus, which drives through a city and visits locations matching those of the play’s plot.
